PMBoK 8th edition

PMBoK 8^th edition was released in November.

1. 1. 1. Personal opinion: they are finally edging toward real world project management with a much stronger focus on people. There are still all the details of how to build a team or schedule that aren’t in the book but for the first time since getting my PMP 20+ years ago, I actually read all of it.
      2. Putting it into practice: Perhaps I like this version the most as it aligns with my project approach: strategy, people and big-ticket items like procurement and governance to set up a project for success. These have been my go to’s for years. If they are not yours, what are, and have they been successful?
